Personal Brief
Hi welcome to my website! I’m Hongda Yuan, or Tony if you like. I finished my undergrad at the University of Nottingham, with a Bachelor’s degree in Honors Statistics. And I’m currently a master student in Applied Statistics at the University of Michigan.
Academic Interests
I’m attracted to computational statistics and data science in general, to be more specific, my academic interest include:
- Statistical Learning (Gaussian Process, Kernel Methods)
- Biostatistics (Experiment Design, Power Analysis)
- Bayesian Modelling

I’m also interested in Phonetics, Linguistics and football/soccer(?). I can speak:
